Our coaches and consultants are all qualified Ontological Practitioners, having graduated from the nationally accredited Graduate Diploma of Ontological Coaching. This is backed by extensive leadership and management experience in a wide range of organisational and business settings.
Alan is the founder and Director of Newfield Institute. As a world leader in ontological coaching he has written extensively on the relevance of Ontology to living, working, learning and coaching. His professional experience in education, training and consulting is extensive, having worked with multinational corporations and national organisations from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States and South Africa. Alan focuses on the communication processes that build a collaborative and high performance organisational culture. His work as a consultant, workshop leader and executive coach is solidly grounded and highly engaging.
Mark's expertise is in the interpersonal area of organisational performance. He works with leaders and managers in organisations to support them to be more focused and effective leaders, by helping facilitate clarity on their strategy or what they want to achieve and to implement their strategy through their people. He brings three perspectives when working with clients - the business/commercial environment; how to create an environment where people develop and perform at their best; and the needs of the organisation’s clients and stakeholders. Mark's work as a consultant, coach and facilitator is highly engaging and practical - based on a deep understanding of ontological coaching and other leadership principles and experience in working in organisations and dealing with the day to day issues that arise.
Mark has been working as a business coach and facilitator with a broad range of executive and senior managers in corporate, government, non-profit and small business enterprises since 2000. Having originally trained in counselling / psychotherapy some 20 years ago, he has also coached in a range of organisations in the human relations and organisational health arenas. Mark’s purpose is to make a difference by generating new sustainable practices that will better support his clients in exceptional performance in all domains of their lives.
Faye’s expertise resides in leadership, team and individual development with the focus on building resilience and creativity. Faye has specialised in the design and delivery of learning programs informed by her ontological training and her extensive experience at senior management level. She has a particular interest in the dynamics of coordination of action, especially when this involves cross-boundary relationships.
She brings to her work a rich repertoire of frameworks informed by a unique combination of training and experience in teaching and learning; program evaluation; leadership and team development; organisational development and individual coaching. With a PhD in evaluation and organisational improvement, she has presented and published both nationally and internationally.
As a successful executive coach and organisational business improvement consultant, Tony has extensive experience in using ontological coaching to generate significant change for leaders, managers and teams. As an experienced coach trainer, his passion, deep insight and skilled coaching empower participants to put their learnings from the Graduate Diploma of Ontological Coaching and Ontological Coaching in Action programs to immediate use. He also works within organisations where his deep understanding of the Ontological distinctions and practices in coaching and in the design and facilitation of programs produces sustainable change.
Lyn Traill's working life has been in the specialised teaching and coaching profession for over thirty years.
She has always been at the leading edge of the psychology and mechanics of the management environment, specialising in executive coaching, culture analysis and customised training. Her excellent skills, both diagnostic and intuitive, have led to individuals and organisations to achieve demonstrated, positive progress to a better way of being in all facets of the business and personal environment.
Lyn is passionate about the ontological approach to business and engages her clients with enthusiasm and humour.
Michelle has been working in the areas of individual, team and organisational development, business improvement and change in Queensland state government agencies for the past 20 years. Before that she worked in local government and the non-government sector in rural Queensland in community development and engagement.
Michelle’s broad experience base brings to any work she undertakes (coaching or facilitation) a unique understanding of individuals and teams way of being, how to challenge their perspectives respectfully and move to more helpful pathways and opportunities.
Ian is an executive coach and business improvement consultant with 15 years leadership and management experience with an IT company. Ian partners with organisations, businesses and work-teams to develop highly effective working relationships, facilitate the development of high performance teams and to generate effective cultural transformation. He does this by focussing on the quality of the interpersonal interactions that are at the heart of organisational effectiveness. A qualified Ontological Practitioner, Ian applies ontological distinctions and practices in coaching and in the design and facilitation of programs to facilitate team success, productivity and sustainable change.
Di Miller is a highly experienced executive coach and facilitator with over 20 years management and coaching experience in government and private enterprise. She works with leaders and managers who are striving to achieve results while taking care of what really matters to them.
Di’s coaching work is highly engaging and practical and is based on a deep understanding of the discipline of Ontological Coaching and other leadership principles, as well as extensive experience gained through working with a broad range of clients. Di has a collaborative, respectful and supportive coaching style that encourages clients to engage safely in reflective conversations that lead to exploration, deep learning, enhanced perspectives, more effective behaviours and improved performance.
Kim’s focus is designing and facilitating participative meetings and events that produce real learning, innovation and ownership of outcomes amongst diverse interests.
Kim has over 20 years experience in providing facilitative leadership training to all levels of government, the community and not-for-profit sectors across Australia. She is often described as inclusive and engaging.
Ontological principles are integral to Kim’s practice - providing a solid foundation for sustained learning and change at an individual, team and organisational level.
Kim supports individuals and teams to access their most innovative thinking and develop creative approaches to complex dilemmas. She aims to enable quality dialogue, and learning that makes a difference.

Paul works with Senior Managers and Team Leaders to enable them to achieve successful and sustainable change.
With more than 20 years experience operating at management and senior management levels within multi-national organisations, Paul has worked with individuals and teams at all levels of the organisation in Australia and internationally. He has a particular interest in applying the principles of coaching and mentoring to achieve outstanding outcomes in project and change management.
Michael has built expertise in the facilitation and coaching of Project Teams based on behavioural and process improvement principles leveraging more than 30 years in the engineering, project management and delivery of major projects.
A qualified Ontological Practitioner, Michael has particular interest in the development and performance of individuals and teams and has facilitated high performance outcomes, primarily with clients in the infrastructure sector. Michael holds a degree in civil engineering and a Masters of Business Administration.

With 30 years experience as a manager, consultant and coach, Tony has experience of working in the areas of coach training, leadership, management, human resources and international development. He predominantly works with leaders from a wide range of organisations large and small in the public, private and not for profit sectors within Australia and internationally. Tony has been consulting and coaching senior executives, managers and groups from a wide range of professional backgrounds since 2003.
His diverse experience enables him to bring a pragmatic and personal understanding of the issues and challenges faced by managers and leaders working with complexity. Tony has a passion for facilitating and supporting people and organisations undertaking sustainable transformation, learning and development.
Anne works with individuals, teams and organisations as a coach, leadership consultant and retreat facilitator. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation and a certified Ontological Coach. Anne works with managers, teams and organisations who appreciate that the quality of their human interaction has a direct impact on their ability to effectively meet their organisational purpose.
She has been involved in professional coach training since 2003 and is currently a supervisor for the Certified Ontological Coaching and Leadership Program. Anne has over 25 years experience of working in the community sector as a manager, social worker, youth worker and in community development roles.
